NEW FRESH JUICE CONCEPT OPENING IN MARKET SQUARE
NEXT TO MOE’S SOUTHWEST GRILL
Downtown Pittsburgh –The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) is excited to announce the grand opening of Stevasana Juice Company, a new pop-up storefront in Market Square at 210 Forbes Ave, Unit B, made possible through the PDP’s Project Pop-Up program. We invite the public to join us in welcoming this new concept to Downtown with a grand opening event on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
Stevasana, known as the region’s “OG Juice,” offers freshly pressed juices made from refreshing blends of fruits, vegetables and herbs. With support from the Project Pop-Up initiative, this test concept will operate in a former ATM space adjacent to Moe’s Southwest Grill on Forbes Avenue, providing an opportunity for Stevasana Juice to establish itself a healthy grab-and-go option for downtown workers, residents and visitors.
“It’s exciting to see another small business concept take root in Downtown as part of our Project Pop-Up initiative,” said Cate Irvin, Senior Director of Economic Development for the PDP. “This opening couldn’t come at a better time, as it aligns perfectly with our summer programs in Market Square, such as the Farmers Market and Yoga, that help support healthier, more sustainable opportunities for our community.”
Mike Geiger, Owner of Moe’s and the property owner for the incubator space, echoed the excitement: “One of our core operating philosophies at Moe’s is a belief that we are obligated to give back to the communities we serve, and I have been looking for a unique use for this space since 2022. The opportunity to repurpose the space as an incubator for PDP’s Project Pop-Up program and play a role in the retail launch of Stevesana Juice Company was the perfect way to achieve a goal and live the philosophy.”
